Self care essential supplies – For the front line agencies who care daily for those in need, demand always outweighs supply. Especially in harsh economic times, when once reliable sources of essential care supplies dry up. Because of increased economic pressure to cut back on donations or increased demand on limited resources.

For this reason The Hope Network has made it a priority to do what we can to help front line agencies meet the demand. By sourcing essential supplies and getting them to the front lines where they are needed most.

About self care kits – The Hope Network distributes self care kits weekly to shelter residence, drop in center attendees and homeless persons who live on the streets. All items we pack into kits are (preferably) travel sized, so they fit into a single large resealable ziplock bag. This way the kits are light and do not take up allot of room, making them easy to cary.

Basic self care essential kits – For individuals in need we have two basic kits, one for men and one for women. They include basic items for daily self care maintenance. For health we provide soap, a toothbrush, toothpaste, hand sanitizer and mouthwash. For hygiene we provide antiperspirant, deodorant, hand and body lotion, shampoo, conditioner, lip balm and feminine hygiene products. For grooming we include a razor, a comb, brush, nail clip, shaving cream and petroleum jelly. For clothing we provide sox, a face cloth and underwear.
